Hello, I'm Dani.

I've always been curious about people. Why we do what we do, how our experiences shape us, why we can find ourselves repeating the same patterns, and why change can feel so difficult, even when we really want it.

My own experiences of personal growth and healing have played a big part in bringing me to this work. They've also taught me that understanding ourselves is one thing, but learning how to respond differently, build trust in ourselves and navigate life's challenges is another.

I don't believe there's one approach that works for everyone. We're all different, with our own stories, personalities, experiences and ways of making sense of the world.

That's why I enjoy drawing on different counselling approaches, including somatic awareness, parts work, EFT, inquiry-based techniques and creative exploration. Sometimes our work might involve conversation, sometimes slowing down and noticing what's happening in the body, and sometimes trying something a little different.

What matters most to me is the relationship we build. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself, ask questions, have a laugh, sit with difficult feelings and explore things without feeling judged or rushed.

I'm not here to tell you who you should be or what your life should look like. I see counselling as something we work through together, where you remain the expert on your own experiences.

My training and experience

I've completed over 800 hours of training through The Awakening Group, gaining my Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Holistic Counselling.

My studies have included trauma-informed approaches, attachment and relationship patterns, systemic constellations, inquiry-based stress reduction, EFT, somatic awareness and therapeutic communication.

I also bring over six years of experience working in disability support, supporting people with a wide variety of needs, circumstances and life experiences.

This work has taught me a great deal about listening, patience, adapting to different people and respecting each person's individuality.

I continue to learn, explore and develop my practice, and I value bringing both professional training and genuine human connection into the counselling room.
