Hi, I’m Dani, I’m so glad you’re here.
I became a counsellor because I know how much it means to be truly seen and held in your mess, your pain, and your discomfort and still be met with compassion.
I’ve been there myself. For a long time, I moved through life feeling like something was wrong with me like I was broken. I felt things deeply, reacted differently, and often felt overwhelmed by things others seemed to handle with ease. I didn’t understand why. I lived from a place of dysregulation, panic, and hyperarousal, constantly feeling different and completely exhausted by it.
But healing is possible. I’ve experienced it myself, moving slowly and gently over the years. With the right support, tools, and self-awareness, I began to notice the subtle shifts less reactivity, clearer thinking, calmer days.
And now, this is what I help others with too.
My approach to counselling is intuitive, grounded, and deeply trauma-informed. I believe healing isn’t about fixing yourself it’s about coming home to yourself. I offer a non-judgemental, heart-led space where you can show up exactly as you are. I draw from a blend of modalities including nature-based practices and somatic tools to support you in reconnecting with your body, emotions, and needs.
Alongside my work as a counsellor, I’ve spent the past five years supporting people as a disability support worker. That experience has only deepened my belief in the power of being met exactly where you are.

Healing isn’t about fixing you or trying to get rid of those parts of you that feel broken, it’s about coming back home to yourself and reconnecting with those parts of you that have been lost along the way.
I work with people who:

• Experience heightened sensitivity and don’t always know why
• Struggle with stress, burnout, or the sense that life feels harder than it should
• Are navigating trauma, big life transitions, or patterns that feel stuck
• Want to feel more connected to themselves, their bodies, and their needs
• Are curious about their inner world and ready to gently unpack, understand, and shift

My Services

Holistic Counselling
With a Diploma in Holistic Counselling from The Awakening Group, I offer a down-to-earth, body-focused approach to therapy. You can choose between online sessions via Zoom or private, face-to-face sessions at my place in the beautiful rural setting of Franklin, Tasmania.
In our sessions, I draw on a range of tools and techniques, including:
• Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT): Helping to release emotional blockages.
• The Work of Byron Katie: Questioning thoughts that cause stress.
• Attachment Theory: Exploring relationship patterns.
• Dissolution and Freedom Technique (DFT): Breaking down limiting beliefs.
• Guided Visualisation: Using imagery to promote healing.
• Parts Work and Inner Child Work: Healing different aspects of yourself.
• Structural Constellations and Genograms: Looking into family dynamics and ancestral patterns.
I’m always learning and will bring new approaches into our sessions as I continue my studies.

NDIS friendly services
With five years of experience as a disability support worker, both in organisations and independently, I have supported individuals with high-complex needs in a variety of settings. I now offer counselling services for NDIS participants, drawing from both my disability support experience and my counselling training. While I am not a registered NDIS counsellor, I provide a supportive, holistic approach tailored to each individual’s needs. My focus is on emotional well-being, self-empowerment, and creating a safe space for clients to be heard, seen and to go at their own pace.
