About Me

I’m Dani, a counsellor who helps people move through what feels stuck, heavy, or overwhelming in life.

My work supports people to feel steadier, more regulated, and more at ease in their bodies and emotions. I blend body-based awareness with practical nervous-system support, so change feels experienced, not just thought about.

I help clients understand what’s showing up inside them, whether it shows as tension in the body, reactions they don’t expect, or patterns that keep repeating without a clear reason.

Together we slow down, meet what’s present with care, and support your system to create new ways of responding over time.

Asked Questions

I offer a limited number of appointments each week to ensure I can be fully present for each client. If you don’t see a time that suits you on the booking calendar, feel free to contact me. I will do my best to accommodate you or let you know if a spot opens up.

  • Do I need a referral to book a session?
    No. You can book a session directly with me, no referral required.

  • I’ve never done counselling before. Is this suitable for beginners?
    Absolutely. Many of my clients are new to counselling. I offer a gentle and supportive approach, allowing you to progress at your own pace and comfort.

  • Can I use NDIS funding for sessions?
    If you are self-managed or plan-managed, yes. My services are not registered with the NDIS but may be claimable under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living or Core Supports. It’s always best to check with your plan manager or support coordinator.

  • What happens in a session?
    Each session is led by what you need that day. We may explore emotions, nervous system patterns, past experiences, or use grounding tools. It’s a space to feel supported, understood, and gently guided, without pressure.

  • Where are you located?
    I offer in-person sessions in Franklin, Tasmania, and online sessions Australia-wide via Zoom.

  • Is this the same as psychology?
    No, I am not a psychologist. I’m a qualified holistic counsellor with a trauma-informed, body-based approach. Many people find this style more intuitive and relational than traditional therapy models.
