Wild Harmony
Holistic Counselling

I support people who feel stuck in looping emotional patterns.

For those who are overwhelmed, dysregulated, looking to shift reactions and patterns in their life and who are ready for something deeper.

My work is somatic, body-based and holistic.

We move slowly, with the nervous system, to create real inner safety,
so you can feel more grounded, more free, and more at ease in your life and in your relationships.

About Me

I’m Dani,
a holistic, somatic counsellor working at the intersection of trauma, nervous system repair, inner parts healing and real, embodied change.

My work is influenced by my training with The Awakening Group, Brenda Sutherland, and ongoing IFS/Parts integration based in the lineage of Dick Schwartz’s internal family systems model. I’ve studied trauma, nervous system regulation, EFT, somatic integration and body-based emotional repair.

I don’t work at the surface.
I work with the parts of you that learned to survive, the ones still carrying pain, patterning or protection even when you’re ready to move beyond it.

This is counselling with depth.
With body.
With safety.
With truth.

If this resonates… If something in you feels pulled toward this work, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

People often wait to seek support because they fear they’ll be too much, or that therapy won’t help.
But when you’re met with safety and depth, healing can be grounding, empowering and deeply freeing.

In our sessions, we don’t just talk about patterns;
We work with them, in the body, at the root.

Healing isn’t about removing what’s damaged.
It’s remembering what’s yours,
returning to yourself,
and slowly gathering back the parts you left behind.

What Clients Are Saying…

I’ve been working with Dani regularly for over a year now, and right from the very first session, I knew she was going to play a crucial role in my healing journey. For the past 20 years, I’ve actively worked to heal from past traumas that have affected me deeply. I’ve had skilled psychologists who I’ve consistently seen during this time, and I’ve tried almost every type of alternative therapy I could get my hands on in the quest to feel happy and free again. My case is quite complex and layered, and all of my efforts with these different therapies definitely helped me to be a functioning person. But when I met Dani, it was the first time I truly felt seen, heard, and cared for in a session. She brings to her practice such care, enthusiasm, interest, hope, and respect for the individual. If we’d ever had a really revealing or emotional session, she never left me just reeling, like I’d experienced with other therapists in the past, again and again. She would always finish with a beautiful technique to help me feel whole, safe, and regulated, like I’d taken a real step toward soothing and reconciling the part of myself that needed it. Dani also has so many tools up her sleeve that I’d never tried before, some of which I’ve responded to with such monumental healing I can’t even believe it. I recommend Dani’s sessions so highly! I don’t think there’s a much better gift you could give yourself. - Lauren

Frequently
Asked Questions

I offer a limited number of appointments each week to ensure I can be fully present for each client. If you don’t see a time that suits you on the booking calendar, feel free to contact me. I will do my best to accommodate you or let you know if a spot opens up.

  • Do I need a referral to book a session?
No. You can book a session directly with me, no referral required.

  • I’ve never done counselling before. Is this suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Many of my clients are new to counselling. I offer a gentle, supportive approach where you can go at your own pace.

  • Can I use NDIS funding for sessions?
If you are self-managed or plan-managed, yes. My services are not registered with the NDIS but may be claimable under Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living or Core Supports. It’s always best to check with your plan manager or support coordinator.

  • What happens in a session?
Each session is led by what you need that day. We may explore emotions, nervous system patterns, past experiences, or use grounding tools. It’s a space to feel supported, understood, and gently guided, without pressure.

  • Where are you located?
I offer in-person sessions in Franklin, Tasmania, and online sessions Australia-wide via Zoom.

  • Is this the same as psychology?
No, I am not a psychologist. I’m a qualified holistic counsellor with a trauma-informed, body-based approach. Many people find this style more intuitive and relational than traditional therapy models.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here to help and support you on your journey.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Dani
